The driver’s aid LED display provides real-time feedback on driving style, which is displayed in an easy to use ‘traffic light’ system, where:

• Green – indicates a positive driving style with good fuel saving techniques, improved passenger comfort/experience while reducing maintenance costs
• Amber – represents an average driving style where improvements could be made to reduce fuel costs, increase passenger comfort and improve safety
• Red – indicates a less positive driving style where further investigation and driver training may be required to reduce fuel costs, increase passenger comfort and improve safety

EcoManager can collect data from lots of different sources including a variety of CAN bus protocols, G-force, GPS, heavy breaking, harsh acceleration, cornering and lane changes.

EcoManager constantly captures vehicle and driver behaviour data and constantly transmits the data to a server where an exclusive suite of easy to use, web-based reports are available to be accessed by managers at all levels.

Reports are available to evaluate individual drivers and vehicles, or fleets and depots. EcoManager also has the option to provide a secure driver login area where drivers can assess their own results. League tables and incentive programs can be introduced to support the training initiative.

EcoManager can reduce maintenance costs by improving driving styles which in turn reduces wear and tear on major vehicle components. Some components therefore require less frequent replacement over the life of a vehicle resulting in reduced maintenance costs for fleet operators.

One way to reduce CO2 emissions is to improve fuel consumption. Saving 10 litres of fuel will reduce CO2 emissions by 26kg. Therefore, fleet operators are able to reduce fuel costs and CO2 emissions at the same time, which count towards carbon offsetting targets.
